What you will do:

  • Be responsible in all finance, accounting, and any commercial assignments to support the business performance
  • Report to the executives directly about any issues/irregularities in the usual finance and accounting routine; including supporting executives on any business opportunities assignments
  • Coordinate with our sister company in Thailand/Hong Kong and external accountants and auditors – this mainly include compiling documents on a monthly basis and filing proper government-required taxes; VAT, withholding tax, social security, payroll report
  • Assist in financial modelling, pricing mechanisms, and other projects at the intersection of finance and commercial
  • Contribute to prepare monthly financial reports, business plan, projections, monthly report reconciliation, and other finance-related documentation to shareholders and investors
  • Record daily accounting transactions into the accounting system (Wave, Xero, Dext) accurately and verifying accuracy of data and paperwork
  • Issue and handle all the invoice/tax invoice/ receipt, and reimbursement tracking
  • Accurately prepare, execute and complete the following according to Thai legal financial reporting requirements
  • Sort out and arrange the necessary documents/information/paperwork as required from the Government
  • Advise on best practices and direction regarding financial reporting, tax, and financial performance to ensure efficiency and best performance
  • Provide assistance on administrative tasks, such as organisation of meetings, note taking, accepting and forwarding calls, and other logistical components
  • Work with staff on any other areas of the business, based on company’s need and personal skills and interest when capacity allow

 

Qualifications:

  • A recent graduate, with 1-5 years of experience
  • Experience in finance, and ideally in accounting/financial reporting, tax, audit, and related areas
  • Fluency in Khmer – strong preference and good communication skills in English
  • Showing initiative and being proactive, detail-oriented and excellent with numbers
  • Ideal: experience with doing online accounting, using an online accounting platform such as Wave or Xero
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, responsibility, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently with efficiency and able to meet tight deadline, and positive attitude
