Seaplane Asia is operating Southeast Asia’s first premium seaplane and regional air mobility network. We’re hiring a Commercial Director to lead sales, partnerships, and growth — with a likely path to CCO.
Initial focus will be on Thailand, Indonesia, and Cambodia, with expansion across the region to follow.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and scaling our commercial team across business development, sales, marketing, and guest relations to drive B2B and B2C revenue.
- Owning the go-to-market strategy for flights (land, water, air), B2B partnerships, and new commercial concepts/growth campaigns.
- Maintaining, identifying and growing B2B partnerships which lay at the heart of Seaplane Asia’s business model
- Driving both charter flight sales and scheduled “by-the-seat” routes, optimizing pricing and demand
- Designing and launching loyalty programs, memberships, and customer incentives such as gift cards and credit systems, and new creative ways to commercialize our lifestyle ecosystem
- Leading route optimization, demand generation, and revenue management
- Building harmonized, scalable systems and partnerships in Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and beyond
- Working closely alongside our executive leaders and teams, both across the Group and locally, including CEO, CFO and CMO
What you bring:
- Proven leadership in commercial or business development roles (aviation, travel, hospitality, or consumer tech a plus).
- Sharp strategic thinking with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in fast-paced or startup environments, with an entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, adaptive, and driven to build from the ground up.
- Fluency in English is required; Thai, Indonesian, Chinese and/or other Southeast Asian languages are a big plus.
